We are a Practice of 7 doctors in a modern building set in a Shropshire market town. We believe in high quality General Practice and high quality lifestyle. We are committed to education and training across our whole team and in addition to our involvement in the Shropshire VTS Scheme, accept 3rd and 5th year medical student placements from Keele University.
We have a modern well-equipped surgery, including a dedicated training room with digital video facilities, and a full complement of staff including nurse practitioners, counsellors, physiotherapists, health visitors and . We are a member of the Shropdoc out of hours co-operative. Partners have special interests in dermatology, rheumatology, homeopathy, acupuncture, sexual health and postgraduate education.
We have been a training practice for 20 years and also regularly teach medical students and other PHCT members. We run regular in-house training sessions across the PHCT.
The Vocational GP Trainer is Dr Michael Arthur and another of our other trainers is an ex course organiser and examiner for the Royal College of GPs.
